Our History

Founded in 1950, St. Pascal's is a Catholic school for children in Preschool through Grade Eight. It is dedicated to the total education of each child. The development of morals, values and faith formation is stressed, along with formal instruction in academic subjects. Religion is a vital part of the curriculum. The students are involved in the preparation of, and participation in, school liturgies and prayer services.

St. Pascal Baylon Catholic School believes each individual is unique and made in the image and likeness of God. We believe each student can learn. To meet the varying needs of the individual students, creative teaching is stressed, various learning styles are employed, and evaluation is continuous. Students are encouraged to be responsible for their actions and learning.

Our namesake, St. Pascal Baylon, was known for his hospitality and his search for knowledge. St. Pascal Baylon Catholic School actively welcomes new people to share in our community.

We strive to meet the needs of each individual student. Our objective is to create a positive relationship between home and school. Our school has a proud tradition of academic excellence in a Christian, caring environment. Students and staff alike are encouraged to work together in their pursuit of knowledge. We are pleased and honored to welcome you into this tradition.

Local Road Construction Updates

3rd Street Construction

Construction operations will continue through September. Milling operations (the removal of 3" of pavement from White Bear Avenue to Johnson Parkway) began on September 1st. At a later date, the contractor will be placing 3" of pavement over this entire stretch. Undoubtedly, this means through-access to Third Street will be prohibited. Local access will be maintained but expect delays and portions of the road may be impassable at certain points in time.

White Bear Avenue Construction

White Bear Avenue closes Tuesday, September 6 between Wilson Avenue and 3rd Street to all traffic, excluding residents of homes on White Bear Avenue. This closure is a change from the previously posted "local traffic only".

Residents of homes on White Bear Avenue should use the Wilson Avenue intersection for residential access. Through traffic should follow the posted detour along Old Hudson Road, McKnight Road and Minnehaha Avenue.

In addition, as soon as September 9, two enormous holes will be dug in the intersections of White Bear Avenue and 3rd Street; and White Bear Avenue and Conway.
